Try to change "NTFS permissions" -->Error , com

Post by *stragr »

Hello,
I have Windows 10x 64 and i am getting an error while trying to change "Ntfs--> permissions"

Windows cannot edit permissions as requested because a component of the software yopu are using that is required to perform that function is not compatible with any version of Windows released after Windows Server 2003. Contact your software vendor to find out if this software has been updated for current versions of Windows.

Can you help me , what i have to check? I installed the latest version of the "Extended English Menus for TC 9.0 32bit - Windows 10 64bit version 9.0".

Thank you in advance

I'm to lazy to search it now
but you will find that the API function used by TC is no longer supported from Microsoft.
So you have to use the security tab of the context properties menus.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3447)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1371a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.3, Listary Pro 6.3.0.73
QAP 11.6.3.2 x64

Reported to author of "Extended Menus for TC" to ask to remove that entries:
