Custom filter different for each tab

I would like the custom filter to be different for each tab - that way I can show log files in one tab and cfg files in another. Is it doable? Is there some way to get this behavior it with 9.0a version?

That is possible by defining View Modes and Auto Switch
together with em_commands for the filtering.

Make sure to enter a command after the pipe that is executed when switching to another folder. Something like:

em_SrcLogFiles|cm_SrcAllFiles

Although I'm using it from version 3. something I didn't understood the options.
Can you elaborate or point me to reading/other threads with reading on this?
What is View mode? Auto Switch? etc.

I'm not that knowledgeable in the ways of TotalCmd.
