Works with DS2015xs, DSM 5.2-5592 Update 1.

Copy to the same station works.

From one to another does not work.

Thanks for testing! Unfortunately the plugin does not currently support server to server copying. The data would flow via local PC anyway...

isn't it possible to invoke the scp command directly on server 1 to upload/download data to/from server 2?

Wouldn't that be a big security risk? The plugin would have to send the login information of one of the servers to the other server to let it make a direct connection. No problem if both servers belong to you or your company, but what if one of them belongs to a third party?

Well, that's a good point the user should be aware of, an appropriate message could help in this case :)

But as long as one server belongs to the own company, does it really make a difference if TC or the own server is copying data to the third party server? I guess not (not regarding the possible speed advantage).

And what about the message about the unknown fingerprint that is shown when connecting to a "new" server? Server1 would have to have saved the fingerprint of Server2 to connect to it without any "interruptions". Don't know if that could be handled in the plugin, but I guess it would require some additional effort.

The new fingerprint is shown on commandline and must be confirmed with y/n. I think the ssh/scp libs offer functions for that, at least to send yes/no input.

Even if the data would flow over the local PC, it would be a great help to copy from one to another server.
Is it difficult to implement that?
Thanks.

I can only support this request no matter how it's implemented. It would be a great help.

If there is a development for direct copy from one to another server, it would be an additional great help if permissions could be preserved. Thanks.
