? and incorrect info shown during bulk operations

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

? and incorrect info shown during bulk operations

Post by *barrykuma »

When I want to delete a lot of files (>10.000) and I put the delete task in the background I noticed that during the scan a ? is shown and the numbers don't match (they cycle):

Then, when deleting, the numbers are partially shown although there's enough space in the background window.

Image: http://i64.tinypic.com/35akevo.jpg (it shows 208.796/677.3 so the last 2 digits aren't displayed).

As far as I know, both issues have been present in TC for a long time and it's still happening in 9.0a X64.

thanks!

The ? means that TC is still counting files.

Thanks for the reply Christian. It's clear what the question mark stands for, and I guess that the numbers just are some kind of activity indicator.

Maybe the other issue about the missing digits (first issue) can be looked into as well?

thanks!

Seems to be a problem with not enough space for the used font...
