calculating space in mb, or gb using spacebar in win 8.1 pro

when i calculate space using the spacebar, i have encountered a bug when it simply does nothing. i tried several times, this was in 64 bit v9.0a. i seem to recall the same bug in a previous beta. later the bug is gone & everything is well calculating as usual. so i am not sure what causes it. maybe people have noticed the same. maybe try to get rid of more bugs like this 1 in v9.01. best of luck. greetings from registered user since v5.

It could be access rights (TC will not use admin rights option here), or the background thread could be busy with other things, like calculating space in the other panel, loading thumbnails etc.
