How can I change this folder icon, i.e the default folder icon displayed in Win10 ?
Please guide.

Since this changes TC and also Windows default folder icon, is there any way to change ONLY in TC ?

You can simply switch TC icon library if you want to change folder icon in TC only. Also, you can just disable icons from Explorer if you like standard TC icons (as I did).

Second one is easy: Configuration / Icons / uncheck "Show default folder/file icons from Explorer" option.

First one is a bit harder. You need an ICL file for TC 9 (I have such one here) and a resource editor for replacing icon in ICL (e.g. Resource Hacker). When you've finished with ICL, just add IconLib parameter to your wincmd.ini (read more in TOTALCMD.chm section 4.b), e.g.:

IconLib=%COMMANDER_PATH%\Icons\TC9Lib.icl

And you still need to uncheck Explorer icons option.
