Is there a ''Switch panels'' keyboard shortcut?

Post by *JimmyTheBroker »

Hi guys,

Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch between the left and right panel?

(say I am using one hand; the arrow keys and the enter key can get to any folder/file I want quickly on one panel, but unless I use my mouse I can't get to the other panel.)

Thanks Guys!

Tab key should work.

Look for Section 3b of the Help
It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

You can also assign your own hotkey to cm_FocusLeft and cm_FocusRight

Try Hotkeys Editor to easily assign hotkeys.

You can also assign your own hotkey to cm_FocusLeft and cm_FocusRight
Or assign cm_FocusTrg - it will set focus to the non-active file panel - so basically works like the Tab key.

You assign commands to hotkeys here: "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "Misc." -> "Redifine hotkeys"
