Since internally TC reads 7x files but does not write them I would use MultiArc for writing and TC for reading. So you can add an option to MultiArc not to use an addon for reading and list but just for writing?

Why do you want MultiArc for 7zip.
There are the Total7zip and 7zip plugins.
Tota7zip allows to read/write all formats 7zip supports.

MultiArc is in no way an optimization, it needs an uses 7zip.Hurdet wrote:I mostly want to use internal unpaker but I can only use it in reading.
And then I would like to use an external plugin for writing and an inside for reading.
For a matter of optimization.
Total7zip also uses 7zip but allows many options MutiArc doesn't offer.
Fo me MutliArch is only necessary as long as there are no native plugins for an archive format.
