SUGGESTION: File-Selector - Marker

Post by *kalkzone »

To select some files in a directory
one can call the "Selector" by pressing "+" - Key

A dialog starts, in which for example " *.pdf " - files could be selected.

THIS Dialog could be enhanced ::

At the top in this dialog there could be some button be placed
-even in branches-

to select some "common types of files" ::

for example "Multimedia - Files" (may be as a branch with a configurable extension list)

or as single butto for -lets say "*.mp4" or else files.

A branch or button for "document -Type of Files" :: doc , pdf, office files

A Button for photographs or "company - internal" data files could be includet and may be configurable

Or a "all subdirectory" selector could be nice in a corporation for
"project - folders"

--

at the end a knob in the menuebar to call

the dialog itself with the mouse additionally to " + key "

--

regards
juergen

who does the 1 2 3 -if i remember right- since i was born
may be even before i was born

kalkzone: You can already do that now!

Just have a deeper look at this dialog:
There is a "Define" button, where you can configure your own "types of files"

1. Enter your file extensions at "Search for": *.jpg *.png
2. Goto "Load/Save" tab and save your definition at a name of your choice.
3. Repeat this for other "types of files"

At further usage of pressing "+" - Key you can easily select your predefined "types of files"
