How to delete the default '*' in search dialogue?

Post by *Sedaray »

Is there a way to delete the * in the search dialogue?
I have to delete it every time and would love to not have to do that.

I am searching folders of .doc, .docx and .pdf to find "Beatles" somewhere in the title, but not in a specific position. (I use spaces in my titles.)

Maybe there's a way to create a button that opens the search dialogue without the *?

I use TC to search for song lyrics when I'm playing piano bar so I'd like to make search more efficient.

Maybe I need to restate this - is there a way for the default search to not include *?
