Lost all the tabs at left side

Post by *sfarkas »

Hi I have the version 9.0 x64 from 2016.11.23.

This morning when launched realised, I have only one tab at left side.
Previously I had 15 tabs here. The tabs are not changed at right side - I have 5 tabs there.
I have not deleted any tab from left side.
Is there any way to get back the previous tabs list?

Thanks,
Sandor

Check your wincmd.ini (Configuration > Change settings files directly), section [LeftTabs]. If it's not there or your tabs are not in there you're out of luck. Whatever the result, make sure you either save the tab set (right-click on any tab and select "Save tabs to file", or have a backup of the settings files; or do both since that's the best kind of backup.

Thank you!

Checked it and found the info for right side:
[righttabs]
0_path=d:\
0_options=1|3|0|0|0|0|0|
1_path=e:\Work\
1_options=1|3|1|0|0|0|0|
2_path=f:\Oracle\
2_options=1|1|0|0|0|0|0|
3_path=f:\Install\
3_options=1|3|1|0|0|0|0|

which is the real tabs there.
But not found [lefttabs]

There is [RightHistory]
but there is no [LeftHistory]

I will update it to latest version and check it then again.

Added a few new tabs there and it looks ok now.

I have [lefttabs]
and [LeftHistory]
again in the ini file.

Remove duplicates is working fine too.

Do not know what happened!

Maybe you've disabled tabs in TC settings? This option has a side effect: tabs get lost on TC exit...

MVV,
Not on left side only.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I recommend that you make a backup of your tabs if you use a fixed set of tabs:
1. Right click on the left panel tabs
2. Choose "Save tabs on both sides to file"
