Background mode/separate thread

every day I synchronize my document folder with a backup folder on another drive. This takes some time as the folder is large. Could we please have this synchronizing process available as Background mode/separate thread in a similar way that Searching is available.

In fact every operation that opens a TC window could have the option to be Background mode/separate thread. In order to simplify the menu system may I suggest a configuration option for each operation default: Background mode/separate thread or Foreground mode/same thread.

Just open a new instance of TC directly with "Synchronize dirs".
You may use a button like:

or an individual shortcut at your desktop:
