Lost check in cm_SetAttrib ''rec. subdirs''

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Lost check in cm_SetAttrib ''rec. subdirs''

Post by *MaxX »

1. Move cursor onto any dir (no selection)
2. cm_SetAttrib
3. Press (as quick as you can) 'space' and then 'a'
4. The firstly checked option "rec. subdirs" loses checked box

Reproduced on TC 8.01, 8.52a, 9.0a (any 32 and 64) @ Win 7 SP1 x64

Edit:
I don't have any custom keyboard drivers or any another keyboard software...

If you slowly slowly first press 'space' and the 'a', then the checkbox "Recurse subdirectories" is checked afterwards - but if you do it fast "Recurse subdirectories" is not checked afterwards - I don't know whether it never gets checked or it is checked and then unchecked again in that situation.

How fast? I tried as quickly as possible, within less than 1/10 second, no luck so far.

Use two hands and press space then a, right after each other - almost simultaneously

I'm probably too old for that. :(

Hmm - I'm 63... ;-)

It is only with space it happens, not if I press for example a the r.

I have tried both on a pretty fast Window 7 PC and on a slow Windows 10 PC.

But anyway - it is not a big deal - just very reproducable for me.
