archived files treated differently

Post by *now_john »

The left window current directory of Total Commander reads f:\*.*
The right window current directory of Total Commander reads f:\>archived
Both windows show the same list of files, the root directory of f:

I double-click on an archive (test.zip) in the left window and it displays a list of the files in the archive
The current directory reads f:\test.zip

I double click on the same file displayed in the right window and it is empty, showing no files at all.
The current directory on the right side reads f:\test zip\>archived

I searched the options menu and the four .ini files in c:\Users\qwwq\AppData\Roaming\GHISLER\ but found no way to change the behavior so that archives can be opened in either window by double-clicking.

I am using Windows 10 fully updated and Total Commander(x64) 9.12

Thank you in advance for any help that can be given.

now_john,
Try pressing Ctrl-F10 when the cursor is in the right panel.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
