Scrolling using touchpad on Sony Vaio SVS series

Hi! Sorry for writing in english but I didnt found such topic in english forum.
Have similar porblem. Win7 x64, TC x32. Have successful scrolling in file panels via touchpad, but can not scroll by touchpad in the Lister. Some applications have similar problem, but most applications work fine. PHPStorm have problem: it can scroll vertically but can not scroll horizontally via touchpad. So I think this porblem have some relation to touchpad drivers, but most applictions work fine, both x32 and x64. In the Lister I can not scroll neither by two fingers gesture, nor by moving one finger on the right side of the touchpad. When I try to scroll by one finger I see the cursor change its icon to scrolling icon, but scrolling do not occur. In the file panels I can successfully scroll by both ways.
Laptop is Sony Vaio SVS series, with genuine Sony drivers updated to last versions.

Strange way, maybe specific to Lenovo device. My system do not suport this way (it works like usual direct movement without delay). In all cases, almost all programs on my system have no problems with scrolling by two fingers without delay between touching the touchpad and beginning the movement.matixx wrote:put 2 fingers on touchpad an THEN scroll with this 2 fingers.
Regular my system is also does not supportet this workaround. Only in 64bit it works.speller2 wrote:Strange way, maybe specific to Lenovo device. I can reproduce the error if i use 32bit Internet-Explorer and 64bit IE. ON 64bit IE it doesn´t work.
SOLUTION, or WORKAROUND !

Source: http://blog.alexou.net/2010/07/scrolling-in-gtk-apps-with-synaptics-driver/First you have to open regedit. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTPEnh and create a new DWORD called UseScrollCursor with a value of 0.
it works!

NO, TC uses standard Windows LISTBOX controls. I'm not handling scrolling myself in the file panels.

In my case the issue is exactly the same as described in the very first post:
And even after modifying the value in the Registry (as it was suggested in this topic), the vertical scrolling still does not work using touchpad, only the horizontal scrolling works (exactly as described in the last post before mine)...
So the listbox functionality seems to be OK, the issue is with the Lister...Have successful scrolling in file panels via touchpad, but can not scroll by touchpad in the Lister

On my Samsung convertible, scrolling works also in Lister (with 2 fingers). But when it's at the top and I try to scroll up more, it sometimes scrolls sideways(!). But it does scroll up&down normally in the middle of the text.
