Change meta data for many documents

Post by *JimmyTheBroker »

Hi guys,
(edited: Cleaning up the question to try and make it easier to read)

Question:
I'm interested in changing the meta data for many files all at once.
Ideally in a way that is similar to the Multi-Rename Tool's "Load Names from File", except that it loads file properties instead.

Note:I know that I can highlight multiple files and use
File>Change Properties, this allows all the selected file's properties to be changed to the same value. (its the "changed to the same value" part that is a problem.)

----
(Guess at how to do it)
Use "Find" @c:\path\list.txt to load a list of files.
then use the Multi-rename-tool's "Load names from file" but instead of names, load a list of what the selected file's property should be changed to.

Below is what a CSV file would kind of look like with the information.

Thanks Guys,
let me know if you have any ideas on how to do this or something similar
(plugin or other).

Similar to "Copy to Clipboard with all details" except instead copying that information, TC writes that information it to the files instead.
