New tab next to the current one (with keyboard)

Hi.

Is there a way to open (with Ctrl+Up, Ctrl+Shift+Up, Ctrl+Left, etc.) a new tab next to the current open (new tabs are opened at the far right instead next to the current open tab)?

Options > Folder Tabs > "Open new tabs near current tab" is the only option I know of.
