Wow, so many plugins! How do you handle all this? Do you really test them all, or just put them online untested? It takes me hours just to get a single plugin on ghisler.com (with feedback of problems sent to authors etc)...

Majority of plugins are in ever beta-testing regime :) I am glad that especially wincmd.ru helps to develop plugins better (AmpView, TCRadmin, SynPlus) by instant feedback. But all plugins I download and test on viruses. Majority of plugins are updated by authors - "Fair use". As soon as I see authors don't break fair use rules I do not use restrictions. I give an account for authors whom I don't know after they send me their plugins. I test them and after they may update them.

I have to have a hand on pulse of course. These sites are my hobby :)

PS. Now I have three or four more plugins to be added - have no free time :(

Was totalcmd.net defaced (hacked) or why does "Meta Commander Pro 1.0" appear in your list of new plugin announcements?

Instead of being linked to a page on totalcmd.net domain like one can expect when clicking a pluigin announcement one is tricked into a commercial page outside totalcmd.net where you can read what crap you can buy when you have 30$ to waste.

Commercials should look like commercials so I can decide myself if I want to visit the site or not. I hope that you are not planning to mix new announcements with commercial direct links in the future.

There is one more thing that is really annoying on your site. There is commercial inside the program detail view. It looks like this is part of the program information. Please change this! I really think about removing my tc tools from totalcmd.net.

Added to that:
That Meta Commander page uses a sentence from the competitor "Right Click Commander" on http://www.rocata.com/en/index.html
Not like the competition that will make you pay again every one or two years.
This is very strange. Same developer or some rip?

:) Hello Jeff !
¤ Please, remove the colon : at the end of the link, it causes a pretty "404 Error".
where you can read what crap you can buy when you have 30$ to waste.
¤ I agree. Recently, we had a French-speaking user who launched a thread HERE because a "problem" with that kind of launcher. Paul Vansumsen and I expressed the same opinion : quite useless !

So true!!!
http://www.desktopboosters.com/ wrote:When using Explorer, MS-Office, Total Commander or Far, it takes at least 6 mouse clicks to access a level-three folder. With Meta Commander you will only need to click once! How about that?
And certainly someone hasn't been studying TC very well. I will have to try really hard to find a way of accessing a level-three folder with "at least 6 mouse clicks" with TC! ;)

BTW, if that's the Pro version I really have to see what the Lite one can (not) do! :P
