:) Hi Panos !
And certainly someone hasn't been studying TC very well.
¤ Absolutely ! Using mainly the mouse in TC (because a light handicap at my right-hand…), I can access to any folder located at any depth in the tree by one click : simply a button in the bar !
{ Off-topic : I'll ask for an owl adding in the smiley-boards, with regard to the time of these posts ! :lol: }

1. Want to use free software - use linux :)
2. Program looks like useless - don't donwload it and moreover don't pay for it.
3. There are many freeware analogs.
4. I respect authors of shareware products. I cannot blame them for making their products shareware, because everybody needs money to live. I try not to interfere to their marketing and pricing policy :)

It is so easy :)

I don't like Meta Commander either. But author of this software bought advertising on main page of my site. He thinks it will bring buyers :) It is his right. I sold advertising - it is my right. I need to compensate my time, internet and money spendings. If someone don't like www.totalcmd.net you may not visit it.

On the plugins pages there is info about Agnitum Outpost Firewall. I use this software. It is best personal firewall from my opinion. I don't see any ideas why I cannot recommend this firewall on my pages to my visitors.

@Ergo:
Meta Commander is a fuckin resource hack of Right Click Commander. The authors haven't even managed to write their own name correctly in the resource hacked license agreement:
"desktopbossters software" *sigh*"

Obviously they were in a hurry, what lame bitches.

What you are offering on your site is illegal software, do you care or not? That is the question here.

I suggest you to downlaod and install Right Click Commander to compare yourself before you take any money from fucking assholes.

The advertisement is ok like that, the product is NOT.

The advertisement for Outpost Firewall in each and every product description is simply annoying, is that your intention? I don't think so.

Here are the license agreements, compare them with TC file compare. Funny, eh?
Of course you can compare the language files or other files of the "two" products as well. I haven't seen such a lame hack for a long time now.

Meta Commander is a fuckin resource hack of Right Click Commander.
Dinn't know that as I didn't used it. If so I will have to postpone the advertising campaign. I will contact now the author of this program and will like to hear explanations from him.

I read readme file from RCC 2000. And there is "1. All copyrights to RCC 2000 are exclusively owned by the authors -
Alexander Arhipov and Anton Taranov."

ANd I just noted that the person I am doing business with is Alexander Arhipov. So I beleive it is not resourse hack. It is simply new name of RCC 2000. Calm down guys.

What I still don't get from this whole story is why on earth should a site dedicated for TC plugins and the like, be advertising a software that declares of being more revolutionised if you like than TC.

I'm not talking here if it meats what is stated or not but if it should be actually placed in totalcmd.net

Thank you changing background color and position of the "Outpost firewall" advertisement. I think it's acceptable now.

I don't see any problems here :) There are people who like such type of software.

You got me wrong! I'm not criticising the software itself but the fact that it is advertised (even indirectly with a link) as having a better functional approach than TC and as an extension of that, this is sourced from your dedicated TC site which otherwise is excellent.

It’s like having a dedicated site about vegetarians and in the main page advertising pork recipes! ;)

BTW, Right-Click Commander was initially promoted as a useful TC addon via the context menu (at least in this forum). Now we see the same guys promoting the same software with a different name but this time presented as a rival! Confusing!

:) You believe that all totalcmd.net are very experienced? You are wrong majority of them using total commander just as yet another one windows explorer.
The author could advertise on other site... like zdnet.com but he has obviously doesn't have thousands of dollars to pay for advertising. That is why this is TOTALCMD.net Why not?

You see... this is a marketing :)

To sell the same product under two names, one for $24.50 and one for $30 is not really great marketing but extremely stupid. $30 dollars for a shell extension? On what planet do those mafia guys live on? What will happen to the people who have bought RCC when rocata.com is closed? NOT ONE WORD on that matter on the new website!

The original RCC website looks professional, the current Meta Commander website looks like some site where you can download dialers.

The whole site is completely anonymous, I don't see who makes the software, no contact information, no postal address, I have nothing but a fuckin email address.

It's just sad that you have taken the decision to depreciate your site with that product.

Honestly I doubt that Meta Commander is made by the same guys, I think you are fooled yourself, just like the visitors of your website when they really buy that underground crap.
