Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Nothing beats Apollo for mp3 and ogg. Errm, IMHO.
Superb quality and the smallest glitch between songs i have ever heard amogs players, and i tried many, including Winamp, FooBar, TrayPlayer, Sonique, Quintessential, CoolPlayer, nPlayer, WiMC, you name it
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Not all of these are what people think of as media, but here it is...
+ For video & audio I used mplayer4tc plugin for a while, but now I use standalone MPlayer with MPUI frontend (which I prefer to gMPlayer).
+ For images I use Imagine, both as TC plugin and as standalone.
+ For office documents I use OpenOffice standalone, and Office plugin for TC.
+ For PDFs I use Foxit Reader standalone, and (PDF)filter plugin for TC.
+ For HTML I use Firefox standalone, and HTMLView plugin for TC.
+ For SWF I use SWFView plugin for TC.

I only use such plugins to get content-information about audio/video files, like Imgsize and Audioinfo.
I already use another editor, but Imagine is a very nice plugin as a simple graphic tool.
For a quick playback of a mp3/wav/mid or mpg/avi I use Lister (alas, not yet for ogg-format)
Bitmaps and video : the great Irfan View.
Dedicated audio : XMplay. Or JetAudio because it can play multichannel wavs.
