I think the colors are quite blinding (I'm still having trouble seeing ;@}), especially the left _YELLOW_ navbar, but with the radioactive blue you have in the tools section it blows the monitor off, my nice flat 19'' screen hasn't still recovered from the trauma!!!
(Apart from that, nice work, keep it up)

Cheers.

radioactive blue
yep, that's the color I selected :)

okay, I'll tone it down a little, the change from the old black website maybe be a bit to much....

Well, I must admit, I was really suprised when I saw your page today. I thought it was hacked :-)
To be honest.. I don't like the yellow menu - think it over, maybe you will find any other solution for the menu.
But of course not the colours are important but the contents :-)

The look is becoming more professional while the structure was always presented clearly. The old black background reminded me of some underground sites! Now, it’s a lot better, well done Maxwish! Yes, some color selections may not be the best but the whole approach is a step forward. I like the new URL as well. Cool! ;)

A suggestion, of I may, for colors: why don’t you follow the color theme of TC’s forum (the default one as there are many available)? It’s a very successful layout IMO and it would be aesthetically compatible with yours if finally followed. Actually, to be honest with you, you do follow up to a certain point the forum’s look colorwise other than structurewise (the structure couldn’t be the same anyway since we are comparing unequal things here!) ;)

Just checked it again, much much better (actually pretty nice looking); The only thing bothering me is the radioactive (:P) greenish hue the links in the left navbar transform into when you hover over...

Cheers.

thanks for all the positive feedback. I've made the colors a bit less extreme and refreshed some of the layout/text.

A friend gave me his old PC (p2-400 mhz with 128mb ram, not really high-tec but way faster that my old box). So now I can finally run a decent HTML editor. And this is the result ;)

I turning my old PC into a little home server, so in the future hopefully I can run the site from home and get rid of that giant lycos ad and add free homepage space for plugin authors (with ftp upload) so they can also make a little webpage with their plugin (if they wish).

I've already setup a win9x+apache server and that runs pretty fast, but when adding PHP+MySql, the speed drops a lot...
So I tried Red Hat 7.2 to see if that was faster but that was a disaster: I couldn't even get apache going, but I did notice the PC was way slower that windows9x (using Gnome).

So any ideas for a good linux distro for a small server on a p1-150mhz?
Preferably something that just can install only Apache+PHP+MySQL

BTW: somebody has posted a picture of me on the net :) :)

Is the similarity with my avatar just a coincidence or are there higher powers at work here ?????

Looks fabulous so far, Max...but I've found one mistake.

In the FileSystems Plugin section under Unofficial Plugins, you have a plugin listed for Canon digital cameras that erroneously has the name and version number of the plugin below it (Plugin Manager).

Hey! “We” can use this site to implement this: http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=762

Are you willing Maxwish to be the server hosting side of the task?!
