How to create an unicode foldername?

I want to create a russian folder name by pasting some russian char.
however, all the char become ???????? and TC refuse to continue. any solution? :?: thanks in advance :!:

Well, I think that the problem is that the TC is not Unicode itself, however, you could try to Change in "Regional and Language Options"->"Language for non-Unicode programs" and set this to prefered value... I guess Russian?

Hope to see complete TC one day soon in Unicode.. Not only parts...

To create a Russian folder on a non-Russian system, you can do the following:
1. Create folder with other name, e.g. 'temp'
2. Rename this folder to the Russian name

This is necessary because the inplace rename box is Unicode-enabled, but the create directory box isn't yet.

before copying russian text to clipboard try switch to russian layout (ctrl+shift or what you usually use). this should help
