System Variables in Wincmd.ini?

Post by *Munango-Keewati »

Is it possible to use system variables such as %USERNAME% and
%HOMEPATH% in the LEFT/RIGHT or tab settings, like this:

[left]
path=C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\My Documents\

or

[lefttabs]
0_path=C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\My Documents\

I've tried every permutation I can think of, but the tabs always stop short of opening the directory represented by the variable. Curiously, system variables work fine from the Directory Menu or the command line, with the CD command.

Thanks in advance!

This isn't currently supported because these are auto-saved paths, sorry. I will add it to my wish list.
