How to use [=tc.directory] for renaming?

I don't know how I should use [=tc.directory] in the Multi-Renaming Tool?:oops: Thank you.

Well tc.directory is only true/false indicator. So, it will return "yes" for directories and "no" for files. Same like some others like system, hidden, etc.

There is not some use for those variables in MRT, they are more handy in find files dialog.

I use

[P] Paste name of the parent directory, e.g. when renaming c:\directory\file.txt -> pastes "directory".

or

[G] Grandparent directory (usage: see [P]).

When I want to use the directory name in MRT
