Lister view position saving

Post by *y »

I need saving of Lister position. May be, this feature are exist, but I do not find it.

What I need: If I read the text or viewing file with Total Commander lister, I need to – Lister should save the current line position, and restore it on the next time when I opening this file. For each file what I’m reading, of course.

Can you help me please – how I can reach it?

Thank you.

Maybe you should try View64 instead, which can remember last position, plus bookmark.

synplus is a lister plugin that remembers the positions. Plus, you can switch from view to edit mode and use all kinds of highlighters (though for serious editiong I always use Scite through F4)

Yes, but this is plugin dependent. There should be a way to say to lister that U want it to remember position on the screen, being it plugin or no. Of course, it should remember position depending on currently used plugin (something like Winamp do - it will remember view settings (position among the others) for every skin you heave)
We are not doing this just for the money.
We are doing it for sh*t load of money.

I found the link to View64 home (http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=4892&highlight=view64), but it seems to be a lifeless. Author home page doesn't contain any Total utils. :(

Check mail, look for a message with Subject: VIEW64.
There is no installation process at all. All you have to do is just to unpack it into a desired directory.

Post by *y »

Hi!

Alexey Chernobayev has uploaded the View64 (1.49 Beta) - viewer program.

Because his site is Russian only, I publish the direct link to ZIP file

http://www.caravan.ru/~alexch/download/V64_060123.zip (588 KB)

Good luck!
