[REQ] Copy fields to clipboard

Post by *majkinetor ! »

Is there command there or antyhing else inside TC that can copy all selected file names along with current fields to clipboard or CSV.

For instance, I want to export mp3 information for all selected files !
Don't mention that template plugin becuase I don't like its design.. it is not practical in any sense.

I don't know about you guys but, I see here some very bad design isues

- I have fields but I can only look at them
I can't even copy single field, without specialized plugins or something...

This reminds me on TaskInfo problem where you have bunch of various process information and you can't copy it !

What is programming background behind this - adding a few lines of code, nothing more, there is really no excuse for absence of this basic functionality. InfoPacker plugin should be already integrated in TC (it doesn't have to be so detailed though, even simple subset of its functions would be enought).

At the end, I expect future versions of TC to have inline selection for fields, similar to normal inline rename of files, just read only. Or maybe right mouse button on panel header will give me option to "copy selected fields on clipboard" along with different types of views available.

majkinetor !,
Hopefully copying to clipboard will be implemented as well as saving to text file.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
