That's correct only for big companies. For example, we have a CD burning machine which uses a normal PC as a host. It uses Windows XP home, because it only does this burning job, nothing else. There are no users needed, no file security etc. Why pay a much higher price for something which isn't needed?Companies don't use XP home they use XP Pro.
I find it incredible that Microsoft drops support for a product 12 months after they have sold the last copies to customers...The support for MS operating systems is being extended for 12 months when a new service pack is released.
