Transfering files, programs, etc?

Hi,

How would one most easly transfer all of my computers info from one hard drive to another hard drive so it would be backed up and if a drive crashes the info on backup drive would make things still work.

For such purpose you would need an Image porgram like acronis true image or Norton ghost.
