windows firewall and FTP

Hi!

Could any one please help me!
When I try to connect to my FTP it stucks in "LIST get directory". I have Total commander in my access-able list of my windows firewall list.
How should I config. my windows Firewall?

I have win xp SP2

Try to turn on passive mode first in TC, turn on the option:
"Use passive mode for transfers (like a WWW browser)"
in the FTP dialog.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Passive mode opens the port from within your PC while active mode has to listen to the connection from the FTP server. Those connections from outside are usually blocked by a firewall.

So pass. mode is much more secure but unfortunately not all FTP server support passive mode.
