Archives unpacking

Post by *snaggy »

Is there a way to unpack an archive to a folder with the archive's name (and in the same directory) automatically?

Just like the function "extract to folder ...." in the winrar contextMenu

bye

Alt+F9, then remove the path suggested (just press Del), then check Unpack each archive to a separate subdir.

It is easier to use WinRar Shell Extension.

The fastest way I know is to use Staffit Expander. U can still have all your current extensions but when you press SHIFT ENTER archieve will be unpacked to its own folder. U have good customization on how this folders are created.

That works fine (deleting the path)
Is there a way to make this setting (no path, unpack each... checked) the default one?
