permission on web server

How I can add permission on directory using ftp connect.I need following permission.This is what i need to do:
Change the permissions on the directory to "777"
(read-write execute all)
Example:
chmod www.yoursite.com/photos -> 777
I now that I can do this using ftp,but I don't now this command in total commander!

Files -> Change Attributes.

Or you use the comandline end execute the "chmod www.yoursite.com/photos -> 777" there
