problems with ext2

I've installed the plugin (the one in the addons page of TC website) to read ext2 filesys but if I try to download files bigger then 1 giga or so it gives me an error, saying just "error in downloadin file"

By the way, is it normat such a slow speed (about 1 MB per second) ?
If i can't fix this problem, does anyone know some other efficient way to acces to big files on ext2? (I used paragon partition explorer but it's slow and instabe)

Do you give this error only with files large then 1GB??? I gave such error every so often... Including during copying very small files. Sometimes it downloaded files without any message, but unfortunaly size of some received files was zero.
I advise you to use other software to access to ext2/ext3. For example http://www.fs-driver.org or http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm

explorer2fs works fine, i think i'll use it.

Please try a newer version of the plugin, this is a known error of older versions.

Strange, the plugin uses the same code as Explore2fs...
