[Bug?]Copy-Move to abc*.*

Post by *Lev »

TotalCommander 6.54 XP SP2

select several files
press F5-F6 button, or drag files to another panel to Copy-Move
edit *.* in appeared dialog to abc*.* and press OK

the first letters of copied/moved files changed to abc instead of adding them at the beginning of the file name

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

That is bad design. Well, this was already discussed somewhere here.

also related... didn't wanna start a new thread (especially if the answer is 'This is by design' :P)

if I copy/move a file to C:\ and I edit the copy path to something like C:\temp\ (where temp dir does not yet exist) I'dd expect TC to automatically create the 'temp' dir and start copying/moving

This is working as expected in 'Unpack files' dialog
TC for Linux please!

In that case change the topic title appropriately. ;)

Created one year and 17 days ago:

Comment of ghisler:
Not available.

Chance that hell freezes before proposal gets implemented:
