Copy as text---

:) Jeff:
Just a thought :
- you can copy any part of any Tutorial as text from the HTML-version pages >> Lister to place it in the Wiki.
- Indeed, the Tutorials contain first that the official Help contains…
Reason :
I started the Tutorials originally as a try to find another Help format, for and with Ch. Ghisler… But we had the Holy Diskette-size limitation still on this time, so - in order to recover this so big job- I continued as is, but adding notes, comments, and the most pictures as possible…
- The English HTML version -which has a newer better structure than the others- could allow translations, specially for languages where not any Help (even unofficial) exists… AFAIK, not any user attempted that adventure yet… :(

Nice thread :)

Here is my screen shot: http://img141.echo.cx/my.php?image=screentotalcmd3su.gif

In the past, I have always modifed the menu, but this was always lots of work in case of updates (checking which menu items / functions have been added and add these in my menu). So some months ago I have decided to not change the menu anymore.

[Michael],
thank you! Since I have saved your "eclipse-icons"-set on my harddrive (as a HTML-preview!) I was waiting for that upload.
It must have been hard work and needed a lot of time, I guess. I have posted a link to here in the german forum, I hope it is OK.

Thanks again

Stance,

Well, it has not been hard work for me since I've used some existing icons.

As drive & file icons, I am using the XPStyle Icons Pack 1.0, but replaced the TC icon with the original TC one (WinXP color depth).

As button bar icons, I am using some of StickyNomad's icons: http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=42424#42424

Just some new icons added, and some modifications on icons...
I am not yet very happy about my icons, but I think at least they look better than the original ones :lol:

Michael

After a day of tweaking and going through the forum, I came up with this layout. It is for the minimalists among us.

Total Commander

I am using the following color scheme:
InverseCursor=1
InverseSelection=0
BackColor=9803157
ForeColor=14079702
MarkColor=16764778
CursorColor=16645576
CursorText=5460991

Credit goes to Pdavit for prodiving the Extended TC Menu :wink:

Most of my work I do with hotkeys either via TC or this small freeware utility called hotkeys. Unfortunately, the program is no longer updated. Still works like a charm. :lol:

That is a thing I would like to see :shock:
