Hello,

the false positive detection has been corrected, please update your VPS database and try to scan previously detected files. If the problem is still not solved, please write back.

Best regards

Can you confirm that it's OK now?

I also received a virus warning by Symantec Antivirus about TCMC.EXE. I do not remember exactly from when, but I think it is from 2 month ago.

Could you try this again with the latest database?
No need to bother them if it's fixed already.

FYI, Symantec Endpoint Protection with the latest virus definition recognizes TCMC.exe as Trojan.Drondog.

Definition: Wednesday 29 October 2008 r18

BTW, I uploaded tcmc to the virustotal website and you may see the result @

cheesecake,
FYI, Symantec Endpoint Protection
Did they force it on you as well? If yes, I share your pain. It quarantined several of my scripts, and even xnview.exe. :?

The company I work for recently changed the AntiVirus to McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (8.5.0i) and guess what: it quarantined the TCMC.exe (detected as Trojan.dx)

Normally these scanners allow to submit quarantined files to the makers of the scanner for review. I suggest that you do this to get rid of the false positive.

Yep, but there are problems sometimes. I remember that I've heard "please tell us your licence number" for something I found on Virustotal.
And Virustotal shows 21 positives now...

I have a new, not that dirty version partially implemented, I'll just finish it as soon as I have time.

BTW some of them "Packed/Upack". What idiot did assume that everything packed with Upack is wrong??
