Hi
Is there a shortcut key to edit the panel pathname that appears at the top of the active panel - particularly useful if you are accessing a remote machine o n the network and know the name of the machine and just want to type it in.

You can assign a hotkey to it with configur->Options->Misc.: Redefine Hotkeys (Keyboard remapping).
You can also edit this field by pressing [Shift]+[F6] on the ".." of a directory.
Maybe you should have a look at the Ultra TC Editors, a suite of tools for configuring TC. The Hotkey Editor has a list of all commands available, with a short description, too. And you can search froom within the editor for a certain keyword.
