Windows XP / Shares
I am using total commander, and when I try to log into my laptop's share directory on my home network from my desktop, it has the user name greyed out and says "Bo's/guest" for user. I don't want to log in as guest. I have the guest account disabled. Any ideas?

This depends on your edition of Windows XP !
Using the "XP Professional" version it is quite simple.
Just open the "Windows Explorer" and find at menu "Tools - Folder Options - View" the very last option in the list "Use Simple File Sharing"
This one must NOT be ennabled !
(the wording is may be slighly different, but I don't have an english OS)
Using the "XP Home" edition it is more complex (there is no such menu entry)
