Goto File under Cursor

Post by *tigerix »

If I am searching for files and "feed it to listbox" I want to go to the place where the file is in. I can go into the folder by opening a tab of that filelocation. But I cant find an option to goto the file in its dir. Is there any way how I can do this (with a hotkey maybe)?

And related to that: Is it possible to go to the file where a link points to (instead of executing the file)?

Thanks for help in advance!

Ctrl+right/left will open the folder in opposite panel and TAB will set the cursor on the file.

hope that helps.

Ctrl+Right / Left works for *.lnk files as well.

Thanks for your answer. I know that I can open the directory which contains the file where the link is pointing too, but the cursor doesnt go to the related file. Example. I have a link on the desktop and want to goto the file by this link (not opening) then I can do Crtl-Left/Right, then TC will go into the directory of the file which is being linked, but only into the directory and to the file with the cursor. Is there a way for that?
