Trying to figure out what the easiest way to browse network folders is with this app. I have a home lan, and i want to browse shared folders on my laptop. Everytime I try to access it in Total Commander, it comes up with a user/pw box, and the user is always guest. I don't have a guest account on the laptop, and when I try to log in admin, doesn't like the pw.
RIght now, the way I browse my network is start/run/ip address
Any tips or ideas?
Easy way to browse a network with this app?

Does it work with Internet Explorer?
It doesn't look like a TC related problem but rather a problem with system/security settings.
I don't know your LAN infrastructure, so you should maybe try to search the internet/MS support pages for general network related issues.
As first hints try to:
1. Check firewall settings, if access within LAN is granted
2. Check user permissions within LAN
3. If you haven't established a domain server, grant access to local accounts and try to provide local credentials when accessing a machine in your LAN, for example: Assign rights to you desktop machine for user:
and then when accessing a shared folder on your desktop PC use this full user name and appropriate PW.
