having a problem with DOS

Post by *lvcgpro »

Does TC take over some of the controls for the windows command prompt? I tried running cmd and typing in both 'net' and 'ipconfig' and it doesn't work any more with just plain command prompt - I have to type it in TC. I also tried "commands -> Run DOS" in TC - but it gives me the same problem as cmd. Now I know you can run commands in TC for the command prompt - however I'm having a problem with that too - for instance if I type 'ipconfig' in the command line - the dos window pops up for only a split second - as soon as it's done processing - it closes the window. Is there a setting somewhere that's causing this?

Strange, that certainly shouldn't happen. Works absolutely normally here.

Shift-Enter instead of Enter.
Try also NoClose Replacer.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Then the problem should be in you %path% value (otherwise you should be able to access ipconfig.exe from each directory). Please, try environment variables plugin:

to check and correct %path%
