One a way for change of directory fast could be, when the mouse over the name of directory (in the bar hotlist and history) on click can change to directroy like freecommander.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Yes I can do click, but I only can edit the path and then press enter. (method long)

The mean mine: when the mouse over a name directory the name is highlight if I press over it, the direcotry change directly.
For understan me completely, freecommander and opus work like this.

Sorry, I did not explain myself correctly. (my english is bad)

there is a setting enable you to click the path without edit it

add this InplaceRenamePath=2 in your wincmd.ini under [Configuration] section, then save and restart TC

You can do this even without editing the InplaceRenamePath key: just Shift+click on the folder and TC will go to the clicked folder. When you set InplaceRenamePath=2 you may do the same without Shift.

Using TC 10.52 / Win10 x64

BTW, what if there would be a way to use leftclick+rightclick+"LMB-release" (as we have it for drag&drop moving now) solution for switching to the desired folder? I would like it VERY much! :D
