Can I copy a file from a "Zipped file" and paste i

Post by *Ricc Smitt »

Hello Everyone :D

Here is what I am trying to accomplish:

Folder with archived file C:\Eval\data.zip
data.zip contains a text file called "sample.txt"

(I can see the contents of the zipped file)
Can I copy "sample.txt" to the ClipBoard and paste it in the "Eval Folder" ?

Is there a command to accomplish this task.

I am trying to avoid using the two panes of TC.

Thank you.

Put the cursor on 'sample.txt' and press F5. Overwrite the given name an path by '..' (two dots). This will unpack sample.txt 'one level up' i.e. to c:\eval\sample.txt.

This will not work if in the other pane an archive is opened, then TC will always try to pack sample.txt to the other archive.

This will also not work if you are in a nested archive (an archive in an archive).

Try like this:
1 Mark the sample.txt, or with the cursor on it
2 Press F5
3 Press Backspace/Del/.
each one of the 3 keys are OK
4 Press Enter
