"can't connect to the person you are searching for."
Hi deedstyger
You still have a quite complete tutorial for Total Commander: Its Help file.
Others:
-Clo's tutorials
-New: Total Commander CHM-Help file
But a Wiki is more interactive, we can create pages with contents which belong together and create links to other pages. Plugin programmers can keep their tutorials up to date, necessary downloadlinks can be changed within seconds, new versions of Total Commander add more functions...in other words: It will never be finished.
As I write here and there into the Wiki, I found out that the easiest way to read/work offline is to use a browser with tabs. Internet Explorer and its extensions (Avant, Maxthon) seems not to save those wiki -tabs for offline reading as well. Please search for: "Offline" in your Windows -helpfile.
By using Mozilla -based browsers for editing like SeaMonkey or Firefox and its plugins/extensions I didn't have any problems. Even the preview while editing a wikipage works in offline modus.
You can save every HTM -page as "complete", Text, "MHT" -file or whatever from within your browser.
You can have any TCWiki -page in your bookmark file or "favorites".
The TCWiki is backupped by Christian ghisler(Author) every day, so I guess there must be a chance to download the whole thing and save to disk.
Kind regards
Stance

1. i may not be online everytime in the future. Why you need to download the site?
Just looking for what you need there.
2. offline browsing is always faster then online mode.
i can download the whole wiki site of tc like a help file every 3 or 6 months for updating processes.
because of writing source variation we all know that it s good to read other s tricks, tips, experiences for situations.
it seems i ve to try winhttrack.
