Thumbnail frame color
Is it possible to change color of the thumbnail frame?
Try to put in [color] section one this options:
-1 Sets color of frame around thumbnails: -1=default
-2=invisible,
RGB value = you definition
The example show a green frame.
Code: Select all
ThumbnailFrame=000255000
-2=invisible,
RGB value = you definition
The example show a green frame.
I can read English, but... I write like Tarzan. (sorry)

Hello !
• You may use here the hexa code for the colour, in the order BGR, like :
ThumbnailFrame=$F055BF
ThumbnailFrame=$0000FF
ThumbnailFrame=$FF0000
ThumbnailFrame=$760000
- It's supported and simpler to set, IMHO…

Old story…

Hello K. !
• Huuu … ! It's an old story ! It was revealed that the inverted hexa code (Little endian) can work in TC while I added "Colours by file-types" the first time some years ago…
- I got the precious help of Lefteous at this moment because some issues with the files without extension
(thanks again to him !)
- Then, when the thumb-nails have been added, we thought naturally to customize the frame-colour,
and also to use the hexa-code.
It's simpler than the calculation using complements, a pain in the neck !
{ Anecdote ::: Testing the thumb-nails, I had moth-eaten frames under Win 98 SE, and nobody was able to reproduce this ! Fortunately, Lefteous (again!) found out the cause and the fix-method, the issue was real !
Then, we got a much better drawing of the frame in any case ! }

I think it MUST be described in the help file.

Yes, I know.It's natural to give good tricks here !
There only mentioned that it should contain an RGB value, but it is described above in the description of BackColor:- There is already a small note in the Tutorial at 4 - "b" <wincmd.ini> chapter >> [Colors] >>> ThumbnailFrame=…
So, the "RGB" from ThumbnailFrame definitely refers to this definition of RGB and not to any other.Background color (rgb: red+256*green+65536*blue)
