[Solved] Copy to mapped NetDrive folder very (!) slow

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[Solved] Copy to mapped NetDrive folder very (!) slow

Post by *Hanno »

I have a webdav folder mapped to a windows drive (with NetDrive).
If I copy a file to this folder I have to wait a very long time (some minutes, independent of the file size).
If I use the WebDAV plugin to copy the same file to the same folder - normal fast behavior.

Apparently NetDrive isn't compatible with Total commander's copy method. Try compatibility mode for that drive letter, please. This uses the Windows function CopyFileEx. If that doesn't help either, then please complain to the NetDrive makers!

Solved - the compatibility mode was the solution.

P.S.: Sorry for my mistake but with the former version I didn't have to use this option.
