Lister - Next and Previous key not working

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

I have no problems with n and p. These shortcuts (in standard lister function) switch between the files you have marked before pressing F3. If you press F3 on a single file, there is no cycling available.

If you prefer to cycle among all files in a directory also when you have only one file marked, use Universal Viewer. You can add it as an alternative viewer when pressing Alt+F3 for example:

Definitively not working.

I had checked files I/O with Filemon from sysinternals and when I press p or n, the current file is reopen, no error is logged. And yes, I had selected several files (.txt).

I also have no problems with next/previous options.

I select several files (eg. txt files), press F3 and 'n' and 'p' keys work correctly. It works both with 'pure' lister and using some plugins.

Do you use any plugins or pure lister?

Configuration->Option->Edit/View (under operation)

What option did you select for F3 ?

Hello Clo
OT: Little time, much work with Polish TC site and more and more TC experts here makes me mostly reading the forum, but sometimes I still send a post, too. ;)

Thanks. :)
Surely there are probably more such typo but this one (in this place) should never appear. Thanks for the info - I will change it tomorrow.

Ok, let's stop this OT cause you know... moderators... ;-)

F3 : Internal Viewer with files under cursor

Internal viewer configuration :

http://pix.nofrag.com/86/8d/d9abc7d8e3a78b58a02d1fd22111.html

After several checks, I can say that the problem is linked with wincmd.ini. If I destroyed it, it's OK.

I will do more investigations.

F3 : Internal Viewer with files under cursor
That's the problem ...

Try with "Internal viewer with selected files"

Thanks ! This is working.

Two suggestions :

1) to gray "Next File N" and "Previous File P" when a list of only one file is transmited to lister

2) to replace all upper case letters with lower-case in lister menu to match reality.

Then we need to have Ctrl+a, Ctrl+c, Ctrl+b. I think it's ugly.

Hm, I don't agree. I consider the uppercase letters to be better recognizeable.
