copySamepanel (Shift+F5) and space at beginning of filename

Post by *menet »

Hi,

I have discovered that the cm_copySamepanel function (Shift+F5) does not work like the copy function because if we try to copy a file with a new name like " xyz.txt" for exemple then the new name will be "xyz.txt", the space before the name (xyz) is deleted ! :?

Is it a known bug and it will not be corrected ? :?:

Best regards

If I do Shift+F5 on a " test.txt" file, it gives a Copy " test.txt" to [ test.txt] window, the space i right there.
 But if I do OK, it does the copy in the "test.txt" file (without space) in my case ! :!:

Am I alone to have this way of working ? :?:

But TC rename (cm_RenameOnly) and TC copy (F5) accept that 8)

Can cm_copySamepanel function (Shift+F5) be updated to accept also that ?

Best Regards
