Status bar not updated during copying

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Status bar not updated during copying

1. Select many files.
2. Copy them into some directory.
3. Watch for the file list and the status bar: while the selected files become deselected while copying, the status bar is not updated.

Confirmed - Neither is it in TC 6.56.

This is also intentional. Updating the footer was slowing down the copying too much.
