Do not quite understand how to get the extra carriage returns / linefeeds. :?

Used Firefox yesterday evening in order to copy Alextp's original Pascal code. Pasted it into Notepad and saved it as a pure textfile. No extra CR/LFs.

Repeated the same procedure using Opera and Notepad just now. No extra CR/LFs, either. My text file looks the same way as Alextp's quote here.

So what do I need to do to make my Opera 9.25 misbehave?

Needless to tell you I cannot reproduce the buggy behaviour reported by Alextp today, either.

Ah, crap, that was a Freudian slip, sorry. It's not superfluous CR/LFs which are added with Opera and IE but of course spaces. Alt+W in metapad removes whitespace at lineends.

IE6 also has that bug. Firefox copies correctly.
Sure.

But if I compare the two files ( http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/lister-proc.zip ) clipped from Firefox vs. Opera the differences is extra SPACES (20) in the Opera file (test2.txt) NOT extra CR/LF's (0D 0A) !

It's a known problem with fonts where unprintable characters aren't printed correctly. For fixed pitch font, TC expects that each character takes the same width in binary mode, also unprintable characters (which are printed as black squares). Apparently there seems to be a bug in some fonts where this fails. I don't currently see how I could fix that. :(

Seems to be fixed in TC 7.03 (have so far only tested it using fixedsys font).
