Hi, Roman.

See my previous post. The result has been added. Source drive == target drive ==> immediate access violation.

karlchen,
Yup, I see, thank you. :) And CoolWater of course, for pinpointing this step.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I can reproduce it now by putting the rar file itself in that location. I will check what the problem is.

:) Again-again…

• Ah ! Using the same drive for source and target, I get the crash like you said !
Source :
e:\Téléchargé\Récent\temp\archive.rar
Target :
e:\Test_rar\Level_2\Level_3\
- “Continue execution? [No]” could close TC though, no need to kill the process…

There was AV error in 7.04a which is gone.

For me: TC 7.50pb2 informs about too long names and tries to unpack the content. There is still "Error writing" message but it's due to RAR limit IMHO.

So from my point of view: it's fixed.

Christian,
Ah, my bug report. Sorry I didn't check. I confirm there is no access violation anymore. :)
